Let me first start out by saying that I already knew how this movie was going to end. Does that make me a sucker for punishment....maybe.
I'm horrible at giving summaries, so I will be brief.
Kyo No Hi Wa Sayonara is a movie about a young man, played by Ohno Satoshi, who develops cancer and is told he has an 80% chance of survival. As he continues to fight this disease through chemo and transplant his chances of survival steadily decline all while his family and himself are struggling though this difficult period. Eventually Ohno's character accepts his fate and decides to spend the time he has left as how he wants others to remember him.
It is a very well done movie that made me cry both times I watched it...and I am not talking about silent tears streaming down my face...I was sobbing.
It all started with this little clip:

And of course climaxed to this one:

A++ for Ohno's acting in this movie.
